last post this semester

This week was normal with really easy tasks and people are leaving more early. The things being done are really people needing things done like the robot which I do not know what it is for but my assumption is that is part of the bigger robot like a piece. Like normal the things being done is mostly just the officers doing stuff the new people can't do and I can't blame them since we don't know how to do stuff fast and probable goof off or ruin good material. Not much new people come that often any more. During build season I won't be here any more and it's because I keep passing curfew because of robotics but wish to stay but I really don't like fighting with parents since it's bad. Either way the week as been slow which is normal. This is the last post of the semester since we have finals I am writing this since I have free time.

FLL

Last week was the FLL tournament thing or stuff and the team had to get prepared for the following day. We had to come to which was such a burdan since my legs were killing me for standing all day and walking up and down and running around. Before the big day we had to paint posters so the kids that were going to compete. After painting and letting the paint dry during the night, we were there the folllowing day and had to put up the posters while the kids were already commming and setting up. did you know it was illegal to put up posters if is not with blue tape? I didn't so I was running aroud looking for it. Later after my team came I ,since I was the runner, told them where to go so they can get points to see if they would go to state. Sadly my team that I was running got out of the competition the first round and they left. So since the thing was still going I was putting tables away and puting rooms how they were.

old blog

last last week was fast since we worked on posters for something I forgot about. I the mornings and after school we worked on the posters for three days strait. I was really fun since it wasn't really work anyways. It made me really happy since sad to admit it it has been getting a little boring. Most of the people who where in robotics left and said the same thing that it was really fun in the beginning but it started to get boring so they left the team. I guess they weren't that committed to the team. The rest of the week was really slow compared to the other days. Most of the things done around in robotics are done only by the veterans which I don't mined since it seemes to be really important things. But now there seems to be no really important things to do since it is really difficult to accomplish or there is nothing to do. So in resume the week was fun then really boring after thursday.

robotics

last week was a very short week since we didn't have school on Thursday nor Friday. Sadly that means that there was no robotics for two days. We didn't really do anything important, mostly only reminders for the freshmen to make people do tax credit. Sadly for the new comers most of the teachers don't want to donate or have already for the veterans. Ledge has also been giving reminders to the veterans about very important stuff for the FLL and FRC. We or shall I say Isabell for doing a tremendous job been also been working on the AUVSI competition which I would sadly say that I am quiting form since I keep passing my curfew for which I shall no longer attend to robotics at the end of the semester since I can not change my schedule. And in resume of last week is that we have been slow and reminders have been keeped steady with Ledge.

FLL kick off

last week was the FLL kick off for the little kids that want to be interested in the field of engineering. may be some of the kids are still not interested in the field of engineering and are just doing it for fun which is also good since if they think that build and programing is fun then when they grow up they will still be in it even if there friends get out of it. Well during the kick off it was a lot of fun all of us staying late and seeing the little kids work and go crazy if something went wrong. It was a great experience that all of us coordinated and helped around and I really think it came out good compared to how I thought it would come out. Thanks to every one in robotics team 842 who helped especially Isabel.

This week

This week we the electrical people finished the electrical part of the robot this week. This thursday and for the next week the programers will be showing of there skills programming the newly made robot. I, myself don't know what there programming the robot for and I am really impatient so I might ask one of my friends that is a programmer in robotics. Tomarow we are suppost to be in a parade and do what so what (maybe show off) and theres suppost to be a T-shirt cannon already made by two of the veterans Jesus and Martin and I think it's not done yet since I hear machinerie in the other room. I think the training there giving us by making the robot is really helping and is making people more serious. I don't like serious people but what can I do and I have to work with them (not complaining) since robotics is more working than anything else. Mr. Lajivardi, maybe I spelled it wrong, is really a commanding teacher (still not complaining) and I think he would do good as a sergant in the army and would modivate good the fellow soldiers. that is mostly what we did in robotics this week (finish the electrical stuff and pass the mantal to the programmers) .

the robot for freshmen

Durinng this week in robotics we all have been doing very on task things (ya right) us freshmen or how the call the new comers( but any ways I am still a freshmen) are building a robot. Well not exacly a robot but a motorized vehicle with its maybe own sence of location. I during the week was doing electrical which is still not posted by the officers and I blame no one(Bianca)but I wish she puts it soon. Maybe it is because I didn't tell her or she forgot or she already. Well about the robot , I have been doing the electrical stuff and when I say electrical stuff I mean sodering. I think that the electrical stuff is mostly just sodering so most of the construction in robotics is the construction stuff. The actual building the robot is the hardes part of it and the most dangerous. They use really big and dangerous tools and machines that can hurt you seriously (if used inproperly) and maybe even fatal. The electrical tools are also dangerous and can burn you but there is safty measures to prevent that from happening. At last the robot is for the newcomers to learn so if you get hurt it is all in the process of learning.

Rocket experiment

Yesterday, no now its a lot of weeks ago, I launch a torpedo at a promp that was a volinter dummy with protction. Ichigo was really nice by doing it for us so we can practice aiming. The team has been thinking of cool ideas and I want to be part of those crazy things. I am not interested in the construction program and I am sure not going to be in it's team or group. I am not sure if it's team or group. I don't want to get lungh cancer becusw of sawdust or stuff like that. I don' like the smell of the construction room of robotics because of the stuff in the air. O-well things happen and I still think robotics is cool because of the things it does and I am not completle comited but am sure in for the ride.

Falcon's Robo. Team 8/5/11

Falcon's Robotics team has been incredibly good these past week and a quarter. I belelive it has really grown since it has started. I've seenthe hoistorian called Daisy and she showed me the loads of books of the past in not piictures but in a book if records. I am not sure what the book is called but I will find out. Of the things I have read I have concluded that the robotics team ounce made cars! It was wierd becuse I always thought that the robotics team was only about robots! O-well I guss we all figure out things every day and I wish to make history in part of the roboticss team and me becuse I am also important.

Electrical Workshop

The electrical workshop this week has been a lot of fun and I am really interested in this part in the robotics team. I think I am going to take part of the electric team also known as the electric chics. I am really good at handling wires and the only thing I am going to lesrn form the electric team is the tools and how they work. Along the way I will figure out how to use the equipment and to make all the necessary things I will have to do since I am in that team. I hope I will contribute to the team by doing the things I have to do in the electric team.

weekly report of the monday 9/26

This and last week I figered out that I did not pass the programming workshop and its sad. The day that I needed so I can pass that workshop I was absent rediculas! I say they should of have an extra day for the people to cach up it that workshop. Poor part in them, o well, I only wish I could have passed so that if I wanted I could be in the programing team. It dosn't matter since I only wish to be in the eletric chicks since it for me looks more entertaining. Even so the robotics team is really fun and I just know that programing is not for me since I type slow. O well to day theres another workshop and its about to start so here it ends.

workshops

Every one in the club is awsome and i really think the robotics team is penificiale for my future. To day i learned of the tools in the construction room and we are told we shall be tested in two tests. I learned that blue is always standered, red is over standered, and white is under standered. I wish to learn more and when I go to college they will notice it. I with also ledivardi is right and pregneat girl gets  her baby here. Have a swell day every one.
